*A Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) provides mental health services for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of mental, behavioral, and emotional disorders in individuals, families, and groups. Their goal is to enhance and maintain their patients' physical, psychological, and social function. Licensed Clinical Social Workers are licensed and must have a master's or doctorate degree in social work with an emphasis on clinical experience.
*A Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is a licensed relationship specialist who treats persons involved in interpersonal relationships. They are trained to assess, diagnose and treat individuals, couples, families and groups to achieve more adequate, satisfying and productive marriage, family and social adjustment. The practice also includes premarital counseling, child counseling, divorce or separation counseling and other relationship counseling.
*A Certified Professional Counselors Supervisor (CPCS) is a person who has completed the application process to be a member of the Registry of Counselor Supervisors. The application process was based on Standards developed by LPCA to see that basic educational, experiential, and ethical guidelines exceed those required by the State of Georgia for providing supervision.
*An Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) is a person who has met approved national professional supervision standards; promotes the professional identity, visibility, and accountability of approved clinical supervisors; and encourages the professional growth of approved clinical supervisors.
*A Certified Anger Management Specialist (CAMS) has received additional training in Anger Control and Intervention Counseling.
*A Board Certified Life Coach (BCC) or Certified Life Coach (CLC) helps people identify and achieve personal goals using a variety of tools and techniques from other disciplines including sociology, psychology, career counseling, and mentoring.
*Critical Incident Stress Debriefing (CISD) is a process that prevents or limits the development of post-traumatic stress in people exposed to critical incidents. Professionally conducted debriefings help people cope with, and recover from an incident's aftereffects.
*An Employee Assistance Specialist-Clinician (EAS-C) is a therapist who has received additional training in the area of Employee Assistance Program work.
*Bachelor of Science (BS) is a degree that generally focuses on more subject-matter area of the degree along with applied research methods.
